A 1.8-year-old boy from Amritsar has set a world record by correctly recognizing 195 different nations' flags by simply looking at them. The boy is now listed in the World-Wide Book of Records with the name Tanmay Narang. Surprisingly, Tanmay Narang recognizes the flags of 195 countries at the age of 1 year and 8 months.
Earlier Anunay Garhpale of Balaghat recognized the flags of 40 countries at the age of 1 year and 7 months and Takshika Hari of Telangana at the age of 2 years and 5 months recognized the flags of 69 countries in one minute. This record was made in 2022. The five-year-old order of Noida had earlier registered its name in the Limca Book of Records by recognizing the flags of 195 countries.
Tanmay Narang is a resident of Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar. Mother Hina Soi Narang said that when the son was about 1 year and 4 months old, brain development games were conducted for him. In this, the flag card became his favorite. He always sat with his parents holding these cards and tried to get to know them. Tanmay is now 2 years old and received the certificate, medal, and catalog of the World Wide Book of Records just a few days ago.
Tanmay was 1 year and 8 months in September 2022 when his entry was sent for the world record. After this, the rule book was sent to them. Based on this the entire event of Tanmay was recorded. Evidence of this was sent. After about 4 months now their certificate, medal, catalog, and gift have arrived.
Tanmay's curiosity to learn new things is increasing. Now Tanmay can recognize the currency of 100 countries, the wonders of the world, and the faces of famous people. Also learning types of flowers, 7 continents, etc. The doctor also believes that at the age of 2, Tanmay is acquiring the knowledge of a 5-6-year-old child.
