In Hiroshima, Japan, for the G7 Summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both of them then shook hands. Both leaders followed by talking about their bilateral relations. Alongside PM Modi, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval was present.
Before the G7 summit, US President Joe Biden spoke with PM Modi. Biden approached Modi's seat as he was seated with other foreign leaders and gave him a hug.
PM Modi and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak exchanged hugs as well. Sunak is the country's first prime minister of non-white and Indian descent. He is also the son-in-law of Narayana Murthy, the co-founder of the Indian software company Infosys. At the same time, Modi had a meeting with Padma Shri-winning novelist Dr. Tomio Mizokami of Japan.
